Our Changing Places toilet includes an adjustable adult-sized changing bench, a hoist system, space for up to three people, a privacy curtain and a non-slip floor. You can find this situated just off the lower Oasis Dining Quarter, as marked on the centre map here. To access the Changing Places facility you will need to collect the key from the Management Suite reception. For your safety, we are continuing with our enhanced cleaning regimes, so these facilities will be cleaned and sanitised after each use. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities are provided for customers to use for extra peace of mind.

We have 350 disabled parking spaces, head to Orange Zone 1 car park for those nearest the Shopmobility Desk, near Argos entrance. More information on Shopmobility.

We also offer over 200 parent and child spaces.

Don't struggle around, we offer accompanied shopping or we have a number of wheelchairs and self drive scooters you can borrow. Just make sure you bring along 2 pieces of ID, one with your home address on. You'll need to call us beforehand to book your scooter as we want to make sure we have one available when you need it. We have 350 disabled parking spaces, head to Orange car park for those nearest the Shopmobility Desk outside Argos. We're proud to be working in conjunction with Parkgate Mobility.

Speak the truth: We want to hear about your honest experience at Meadowhall but please avoid any false, fraudulent or misleading claims that may damage the reputation of the centre and/or the people who work here. Our social channels encourage our community of shoppers and visitors at Meadowhall to openly discuss experiences in, or directly surrounding, the centre but it should be noted that unless the post has come from our official account, posts and comments do not represent the views of Meadowhall. Our social media channels are monitored daily during regular working hours (9.00am -5.30pm) and we will respond to any direct messages as soon as possible. Out of hours and weekend monitoring covers critical and emergency situations but we will always respond as soon as possible to any enquiries. First Aid is located within the Meadowhall Management Suite, located at the back of The Oasis Dining Quarter near Pizza Hut and KFC.

Yes, Meadowhall does recycle all waste in the centre, and where we can't recycle waste it is sent to energy facilities to be turned into power for homes, schools and businesses.

Yes.  Meadowhall operates a permit system for all contractors wishing to carry out work at the Centre in both landlord and tenanted areas.  The application and granting of permits is managed through our online system called Vicinitee.  Only registered contractors can apply for permits by following this link.

If your Company is not registered, please send a blank email to [email protected] and you will receive a contractor registration form to complete and return to us.  The permit office is open 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays, telephone (0114) 235 4544 or (0114) 235 4535.  Approval of registrations and permits may take up 24 hours whilst the office is open.

Only Assistance dogs are allowed within the centre. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Our Quiet Room is available within the Management Suite for members of the public. For your safety, the room is being cleaned after each use. Please contact Careline on 0333 313 2000 for the Quiet Room opening times and terms and conditions of use.

All colleagues working at Meadowhall are asked to use the dedicated staff car park off Alsing Road.

Meadowhall provides a dedicated staff car park of 1,400 spaces less than 400m from the main entrances. This decision was made by the Retail Panel Association to ensure a ‘customer first’ approach. 

There are over 300 dedicated disabled parking spaces across the Centre’s car parks, available for blue badge holders. 

Meadowhall has implemented a temporary dispensation policy for employees, which is agreed and overseen by our Retail Panel Association. This process is available to view and download.

We are proud to have been recognised and awarded for our car parks through Park Mark, an independent industry award. 

We have 30 EV charging points in total, available in the Green, Orange and Staff car parks. To use this facility, on parking, please scan the QR code on the charging tower relating to your chosen parking space, this will then offer you a link which will take you to the website of the company required to make payment, EV Charge Online.

Meadowhall has over 12,000 free car parking spaces across the following 7 car parks: Red Car Park - best for access to Main Dome entrance, and Boots. Yellow Car Park - best for access to The Avenue and the Main Dome entrance. Pink Car Park - direct access to M&S and Flannels. Green Car Park - best for access to The Avenue and alternative access to Flannels. This car park has EV charging points Orange Car Park - best for access to Argos, direct access to Next.  This car park has EV charging points Oasis Car Park - this is our 24 hour car park for easy access to the Oasis Dining Quarter and Vue Cinema. This car park has food order collection parking bays. Blue Car Park - Best access to The Avenue. This Car Park may be quieter for easier access and egress. *Disabled Parking Bays: We have a total of over 350 disabled spaces available. Please head to Orange Zone 1 for the disabled parking bays, closest to Shopmobility. *Parent & Child Parking: We offer over 200 parent and child spaces which can be found across all Meadowhall car parks, with the exception of the Oasis 24 hour car park. *Please note: Our car parks are monitored to ensure instructions are followed for disabled and parent and child spaces. Failure to comply with parking terms conditions may result in a Parking Charge Notice. Motorcycle Parking can be located in lower red, lower pink and yellow car parks, and the Oasis 24 hour car park. Car Park height restrictions are 2.1 mtrs or 6’10” across all car parks with the exception of the Orange Zone Car Parks.  There is no height restriction on the Orange Zone Car Parks. Please note: We may need to temporarily close car parks in order to manage visitor numbers

Meadowhall also now has a brand new dedicated Customer Service and Collection store, where you can select Meadowhall as your location in the collect + search field. You can then collect your parcel from our store, and even try on your items in our changing rooms, before deciding whether to keep or return your order. Meadowhall does not currently offer Wi-fi access for customers. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The safety and security of Meadowhall customers and retailers is our priority, Meadowhall’s partnership with South Yorkshire Police has run for over 25 years and continues to go from strength to strength. Over recent months Meadowhall has increased numbers of armed police, security staff and precautionary safety measures to protect the safety of our visitors and our team.

We are proud to be one the longest running security teams in any UK shopping centre, and to have been recognized across the industry for our work.  As a team, we are trained to the highest level to ensure the safety of all, working closely with a range of partners including the police and other emergency services. 

South Yorkshire Police have an on-site police station at the centre, working alongside our security team. Meadowhall is part of South Yorkshire Police’s Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS), which is a voluntary scheme under the Police Reform Act 2002, enabling the South Yorkshire Police Chief Constable to offer suitable employers and their employees within the county an accredited status in respect of them carrying out certain community safety functions. Meadowhall is accredited to CSAS contributing to maintaining and improving community safety.

Our customer toilets can be found in the Upper and Lower Oasis Dining Quarter, next to the The Avenue - Upper Level Entrance, near to Argos on the lower level High Street and next to Timpson on the lower Arcade.

Are there disabled changing facilities at Meadowhall?
We have disabled access facilities located within Changing Places, located near to the Oasis Dining Quarter, near Pizza Hut and KFC. On arrival, please use the intercom to gain access.  The facility includes a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, a hoist system, space for the disabled person and up to two carers, a privacy curtain and a non-slip floor.  Sanitiser and full hand washing facilities are provided for customers to use for extra peace of mind.

Meadowhall is situated directly next to the M1, easily accessible by both car and public transport. Thanks to our on-site Meadowhall Passenger Transport Interchange (PTI), Meadowhall has arguably the best public transport service of any shopping centre in the UK with local and regional services via bus, train and Supertram. For customers visiting by car, we also have 12,000 free car parking spaces, including disabled, parent and child spaces and over 50 EV charging points. Arriving by Car

For Sat Nav; Meadowhall Centre, Sheffield, S9 1EP Via M1: From the M1 exit at Junction 34, then follow signs for Meadowhall. Via City Centre: Leave Sheffield City Centre along the A61, leading onto the A6109 (M1 North) Brightside Lane. Continue for approximately 2.5 miles. Go straight on at the roundabout with Forgemasters on your right, then turn right at the 4th set of traffic lights.

Arriving by Train

You can access Meadowhall easily by train, arriving into the nearby the Passenger Transport Interchange. You can also buy tickets from the Trainline website.

Arriving by Tram or Bus

You can travel to Meadowhall easily by bus or tram from all over the region. Use the Meadowhall Interchange stop to access the Centre via the footbridge, entering Meadowhall next to the Marks and Spencer entrance. Several bus routes via First Bus link to Meadowhall. Cycling to Meadowhall

We have dedicated cycle paths linking Meadowhall to both Sheffield and Rotherham as well as Transpennine routes 6, 62 and Five Weirs Walk. Meadowhall now has brand new cycle hubs near the Oasis Dining Quarter and Argos entrances, providing 120 additional secure spaces for visitors to safely leave their bikes. They also include six e-bike charging points, two bike repair and pump stations, and lockers to store helmets. Find out more information on our Cycle Hub.
