Meadowhall Motorfest Success

The 2025 Meadowhall Motorfest was an outstanding success, with over 8,000 car enthusiasts joining us to raise over £49,000 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The day was packed with classic vehicles, sports cars, and movie motors, including Transformers, Lightning McQueen and Mater from Disney’s Cars, along with the Batmobile from Batman v Superman, bringing the big screen to real life.

Alongside all the glitz and glam were real-life superheroes from our emergency services, giving kids the grand tour around fire engines, ambulances and police cars.
We were joined on the day by Sheffield’s very own Formula 4 race car driver Rowan Campbell-Pilling, who showed us around his sports car and how its engine roars. Attendees got to test out the racing driver lifestyle for themselves thanks to the Stealth Racer F1 simulator, which gave guests a fully immersive VR experience of the track.
Visitors also got the opportunity to experience a dream ride in a sports car of their choice thanks to the team at Sporting Bears. Guests could choose from Mustangs, Ferraris, Ariel Atoms, plus many more, raising an impressive £25 per excursion.

This year’s event raised an outstanding £20K more than the previous supercars shows hosted at Meadowhall. The money raised will help Bluebell Wood to provide vital services and provide care to children and young people living with terminal illness.
