Family Dining at Meadowhall

Meadowhall offers a variety of family-friendly dining options that cater to all tastes and preferences here are a few of our favourites.

1. The Real Greek is made for families, eating and drinking and getting together. Kids eat free on Sundays while the rest of the week it’s only £7.50 for a kids’ souvlaki chicken, halloumi or sausage wrap or meze selection plus soft drink and desserts of ice cream and sorbet. Plus, there’s plenty of brilliant offers for adults too with menus for £22pp (with delicious salads, grills, dips, Greek orange cake and baklava).

2. Harvester has two sides and a dessert for just £7.29 (smaller bites), £8.29 (bigger bites) and £9.29 (biggest bites) with a pledge to Peas Please ensuring all kids’ menus feature two of their five-a-day. Choose from fish fingers, meat-free meatballs, grilled and mighty chicken, monster burgers and more. They’ve also got excellent lunch and brunch menus for every age.

3. Las Iguanas is a family favourite with delicious tapas and Mexican and South American dishes including fajitas, enchiladas and burritos. They’ve got Bottomless Brunch and Bottomless Tapas for adults and also do great kids’ menus including a main course of chicken wacky tacos, veggie nuggets and grilled chicken burger, two sides and a dessert for just £7.25 or smaller portions of adult choices.

4. Yo! does kiddy bento boxes of their tasty Japanese street food (teriyaki chicken, gyoza, katsu) with a side and drink for £7.50 or head to wagamama for special kids’ menus for £7.70. Choose from one of their mains made mini (yaki soba, ramen, chicken katsu) with drinks and desserts of chocolate brownie, tropical fruit lolly or vanilla ice-cream.

5. TGI Fridays is the place to go for classic American beef burgers, hotdogs, simple pasta tubes, quesadillas or crispy chicken tenders with smaller portions for little ones and added veg sticks. They can create their own sundaes and enjoy shakes and fizzy coolers plus if you’re a Stripes Rewards Member – kids eat free. Book here.

6. Zizzi’s Bambini menu has three courses of carrot, cucumber and veggie sticks, pizza and pasta (pomodoro, bolognese, vegan lentil ragu, just cheese, please) plus chips or fruit squash and desserts of ice cream, fruit lollies and cut grapes. Plus, adults can get three-course set menus for just £26.50.

7. Frankie & Bennys has brunch for £4.70 (mini classic breakfast or pancakes with a juice or milk), saucy bowls of pasta, crispy omega-3 fish fingers, baked salmon and chicken wraps across £6.80 Small Eaters or £8.30 Big Eaters menus. Desserts include jelly and fruit for just £2. Book here. Pizza Express is also a great place to go with dough balls, pizza, pasta or salad, a dessert, a bambinoccino and a Piccolo Activity Pack for £8.
