Location: Meadowhall
25 hours per week
5 x 5 hour shifts per week
12.63 per hour
The ideal candidate will need to be fully flexible as the shifts include:
Mornings
Afternoons
Evenings
Weekends.
Role overview
To assist in the smooth and flexible delivery of front line, operational, shopping centre services from the customer service touch points. Services will be delivered through the gift card scheme, the Shop mobility desk, the Management Suite Reception, Collect + and key promotions & events.
You’ll be responsible for:
The following is a list of your primary duties and responsibilities. Please remember that you are part of a larger CCS at Meadowhall team that the list below is not exhaustive, and we should therefore be willing to help and assist all our colleagues in other teams within the business at any time.
• General customer service enquiries and courtesy services. Facilitate gift card sales
• Customer services, communication and teamwork – recognising that the public, retail tenants and colleagues are all customers
• Checking and assisting with the stock – deliveries, monitoring, auditing, display, sale and replenishment of gift cards, accessories, and refreshments. At all times following procedures to minimise loss and ensure Health and Safety of self and others.
• Assist with processing and storage of customer Collect+ orders and returns. Following procedures to minimise loss and ensure the health and safety of self and others.
• Assisting with the delivery of specific reception services including the processing of lost property and follow all protocols whilst liaising with internal/external customers and stakeholders.
• Assisting in the setting-up and active participation in promotions and events, including moving equipment and assisting colleagues and customers.
• Monitoring of resources and equipment, responding to customer enquiries, booking in customers and moving equipment at the Shop mobility desk.
Must Haves
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Educated to GSCE/O’ Level standard
• Previous customer service experience
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• A willingness to undergo additional training
• Flexible and an enthusiastic approach to work
Great to Haves
• Basic PC skills
• Has experience in operating a till/handling cash
• Knowledge of the Centre and its services
