Play Padel Meadowhall opening October 2026

Play Padel Group is opening its second and largest venue to date, Play Padel Meadowhall, at the end of October.

Located on Vulcan Road, opposite Air Hop, the new club will feature eight competition-grade indoor courts, open daily from 6am to 11pm and offer coaching for complete beginners up to regular players. Tournaments and socials are also on offer, with a cafe and bar, warm-up gym, and changing rooms for use before and after hitting the court.

Play Padel Group is backed by Sheffield locals including Joe Root, Cameron Dawson, and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and was the first operator to bring padel to the city in March 2025 with their first venue in Abbeydale.

Padel is the world’s fastest growing sport and known for being easy to learn, fun and sociable, with 2-4 players in each game. People of all ages and abilities are warmly welcomed to visit the club and join the community.

A limited number of Founding Memberships will be available for £99 for 12 months, giving members access to discounted court bookings and an advanced booking window (21 days, rather than 14).

Play Padel Meadowhall will open at the end of October and bookings can be made via the Playtomic app.
