Meadowhall Festive Fundraising 2025
The results are in! This Christmas, Meadowhall shoppers came together to raise over £16,000 for local causes
Every year, Meadowhall works with a range of partners and community organisations to support important local charities during the festive season. In 2025, our fundraising efforts once again demonstrated the generosity of our customers and the power of community.
Supporting Sheffield Hospitals Charity
Our annual Meadowhall Christmas Gift Card, beautifully designed by local artist Luke Horton, gave customers the chance to add a £1 donation with every gift card wallet purchase, directly supporting our Charity Partner of the Year – Sheffield Hospitals Charity. In total, our Christmas gift card wallet raised and incredible £7,256!
This year’s fundraising focus supported projects for mums, babies and families at the Jessop Maternity Wing, helping to enhance care and facilities for families at a crucial time.
Luke Horton also personally raised over £10,000 for Sheffield Hospitals Charity, supporting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Jessops, as a heartfelt thank you for the care his daughter received.

Christmas Choirs & Festive Performances
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Meadowhall welcomed back its much-loved Christmas Choirs and live performances across the malls. Meadowhall donates mall space to local bands and choirs, enabling them to raise vital funds for local charities throughout the Christmas period.
Performers included traditional brass bands such as Old Silkstone Band, The Salvation Army, Barnsley Brass, and The Yorkshire Military Band, alongside local favourites Blu Crew. Together, these fantastic performers raised £16,526 for eight local charities.

Funds raised through our Christmas choirs and performances supported a range of local causes, including.
- The Salvation Army

Meadowhall is proud to support local communities and charities each Christmas, and we’d like to thank everyone who donated, performed, and took part in contributing festive joy and donations to those in need.
