Meadowhall Community Donates Over 800 Christmas Gifts to Local Charity

This November and December, the Meadowhall team worked tirelessly to support the Christmas Toy Appeal, emptying the Toy Donation Box almost daily due to the incredible generosity of customers and the local community.

In total, 810 presents were donated by Meadowhall visitors and community members to the centre’s Toy Donation Appeal box, located in The Arcade on the Lower Level. The overwhelming response highlighted the strength of the Meadowhall community and its commitment to supporting local families during the festive season. The S6 Foodbank, based next to Meadowhall, supports local towns and communities across Sheffield by providing three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food to individuals and families in crisis. Founded by churches and community groups, the charity works year-round to help prevent hunger and hardship in surrounding areas. This Christmas, Meadowhall was proud to support the S6 Foodbank by donating over 800 presents, helping ensure children and families most in need could enjoy a brighter and more joyful festive period.
