 Gather the whole family for an enchanting adventure with a surprise round every corner at Meadowhall’s Magical Winter Wonderland, where festive cheer and fun await everyone.

Glide across the sparkling ice rink (see booking info below) and cosy up at the Après bar. For thrill-seekers, there’s even an exciting theme park filled with rides and attractions.

Meet Santa Claus in Santa’s Magical Adventure

Don’t miss the chance to meet Santa Claus in Santa’s Magical Adventure, where families can enjoy a fun Christmas journey. Join Mrs Claus for storytime, create festive bauble decorations at The Wish Factory and help Mr Fox and his forest animals in a festive treasure hunt. Have a snowball fight with the mischievous elf and take plenty of photos with your favourite forest friends.

For the first time ever something very special is coming to Meadowhall… Celebrating the wonder and dazzle of the season, we’ll be home to gravity-defying jugglers and acrobats, whimsical clowns and awe-inspiring hula hoopers – all with their own oversized present podiums around Meadowhall.

Three times a day, they’ll come together for free seven-minute grand spectacles featuring breathtaking routines, uplifting festive music and sparkling lights. Create some unforgettable memories with your friends and family.

Do something amazing with Mission Christmas

Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas toy appeal in the UK and run by Hits Radio South Yorkshire charity Cash for Kids, which aims to give Santa a helping hand in delivering presents to anyone in our community who might otherwise go without. With your kind donations which can be left at special drop-off points across Meadowhall, children across South Yorkshire will be able to wake up to presents on Christmas morning.

Enjoy must-see Christmas movies at Vue

This year is set to be one of the most exciting times for family movies with Wicked (22 November), Moana 2 (27th November) and Mufasa: The Lion King (20th December) all coming to the big screen. With special shows of the Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker and Cinderella too, make sure you book in for a great day out.

Snow flurries, from 7th November to 24th December

Head to the Oasis Dining Quarter from the 7th November where Meadowhall will be making it snow! Join us at 5pm and 6pm each day at Oasis External Courtyard entrance for our festive flurries and be sure to get your Christmas jumpers ready for some perfect snowy selfies.

Eat, drink and be merry with family-friendly festive menus

Come together for sitdown celebrations with everyone you love. TGI Fridays have a Christmas menu filled with Cajun Claus mac’n’cheese, Santa’s Smashed Burger and kids eat free with their Stripes Rewards.

Frankie & Benny’s have a special menu of two courses for £19.95 plus a kids’ menu filled with pancakes, pasta and pizza while Harvester are bringing back their much-loved Breakfast with Santa (only £9.99 per child), book in now to see the man in person with free Christmas goodies and activity packs.

PizzaExpress has a kids’ menu of dough balls, pizza, pasta or salad, a dessert, a Bambinoccino and Piccolo Activity Pack, all for £7.95 with special festive cocktails, Dough Balls in Blankets and more for grown-ups.

With The Real Greek offering a special four courses and a dessert for just £25 (think warm flatbreads, mezze and lamb meatballs) meze selections, drink and ice-cream for £7.50 alongside Las Iguanas’ Fiesta Festiva extravaganza (tacos, bottomless brunches and snackitos and sharing boards for children), Meadowhall is the place to book.

Delight and entertain them with fun days out over the Christmas holidays. We’ve got Funstation for family games, Rock Up for soft play and fun climbing adventures, Jump Inc for endless trampolining, AirHaus with its interactive inflatables and bowling and mini golf at Clubhouse. From 25th November, we’re open 9am-10pm on weekdays, 9am-8pm Saturdays and 11am-5pm Sundays.

Christmas Eve 8am-5pm; Boxing Day 9am-6pm; 27th December 9am-9pm; New Year’s Eve 9am-4pm; New Year’s Day 11am-5pm.

It’s super easy for families to get here and find directions to Meadowhall. There are 12,000 car parking spaces available at our free car parks including over 200 parent and child spaces and 350 disabled spaces.

Sheffield’s Supertram runs through Meadowhall up to every ten minutes – and you can grab a DayRider ticket from £5.60 on the app – or if you’re travelling from further afield, hop on the train to Meadowhall station.
